✦ About Mania Knox
✦Who is Mania Knox?
Mania Knox lives at the crossroads of circus, chaos, and madness.
She works across many circus disciplines — aerial chains, iron jaw, fire and flow toys, aerial net, aerial hoop — as well as traditional sideshow acts such as the human blockhead, the human billboard, bed of nails, and mental floss.
For Mania, discipline is never random. Each apparatus is chosen with intention, as a language: some sharp and dangerous, others fluid and ethereal. Every act is a story, and she speaks them all.
✦Mania Knox – The lady with the iron jaw
Rooted in the traditions of circus and carnival, Mania brings back the wonder and grit of the sideshow.
Every great artist has a story, and hers is legendary:
''Once a lion tamer, her life changed forever when a lion bit her, leaving her scarred but transformed. In recovery, she discovered a strange new gift — the strength to suspend her bodyweight with nothing but her jaw.
That night, part of the lion’s spirit became part of her. Today, she carries that legacy as Mania “The Lion” Knox.''
✦The Dark Feminine Shadow
Here, Mania embodies the Goddess of Chaos: a vessel of rage, ritual, and raw transformation.
This persona is political, punk rock, and unapologetically dark. She turns pain, fear, and taboo into beauty — channeling anger at the system into ritualistic performance art.

✦Kookie Krumblz – The Sideshow Clown
The mischievous alter ego — absurd, unhinged, and playful.
Kookie Krumblz takes sideshow and aerial performance and flips it into comedy, parody, and chaos. She is the trickster, the fool, the one who laughs at danger and makes the audience laugh with her.
✦Together, They Are Me
Each persona is a piece of Mania Knox. Sometimes they clash, sometimes they overlap — but together they reveal the same truth:
Chaos, pain, and wonder are not separate; they are threads of the same tapestry.
Whether under the big top, in cabaret, or in the shadows, Mania embodies resilience, madness, and transformation.
